Dear OPSEU/SEFPO Members,
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our Equity Logo Design Competition and for your patience throughout the judging process. Your creativity, dedication, and commitment to equity within our union has been truly inspiring!
We are excited to announce that the winning submission comes from Rebecca Pietila! Rebecca’s concept was selected for its originality, creativity, and ability to represent all of OPSEU/SEFPO’s equity deserving groups, including the Indigenous Circle, Disability Rights Caucus, Provincial Francophone Committee Provincial Women’s Committee, Coalition of Racialized Workers, Provincial Young Workers, Jewish Caucus, and Rainbow Alliance Arc-en-ciel.
Rebecca is from OPSEU/SEFPO L. 675, working in Timmins. She has been an OPSEU/SEFPO member since March 2021. Congratulations, Rebecca!
We are looking forward to working with Rebecca to develop the winning concept into a final logo that will be used across OPSEU/SEFPO equity materials and initiatives.
Thank you again to all members who contributed ideas. Your engagement and vision are helping to shape a more inclusive and representative union.
In solidarity,
OPSEU/SEFPO Equity Executive Board Members and the OPSEU/SEFPO Equity Chairs
