This conference will explore the principles and concepts of systemic equity and identify the different ways systemic equity works in a union environment. The conference will also explore the distinctions between diversity, inclusion, intersectionality and privilege.
The conference will assist members to develop actions to advance equity at every level within their union and in their communities through conversations with community leaders with experience. The conference will also include activity-filled workshops on the second day.
