About Susan Fournier

Susan Fournier has been a dedicated OPSEU/SEFPO member for over 33 years, having spent her entire career with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. For the past 25 years, she has actively represented members of her Local 410 and the Ottawa Area Council, where she currently serves as Chair. She has also been a member of the Ministry Employee Relations Committee for the past 10 years and is currently its Chair.

Susan is a former member of the OPSEU/SEFPO Disability Rights Caucus, where she served for 8 years, including 3 years as Co-chair. As a facilitator for Region 4, she has led numerous sessions on the Duty to Accommodate in both English and French. Today, she continues to support members across the province within her ministry, providing guidance and advocacy on all accommodation-related matters.
