Over the past year, community and social services workers in OPSEU/SEFPO and CUPE Ontario have been organizing and building power. Now, we’re taking our fight for long-term funding and justice for stolen wages right to the Ford government’s doorstep. The legislature returns next week, and this is a perfect moment to make our voices heard.
The day will kick off with a news conference and then we’ll pack the gallery for question period. At 12:30, we’ll be taking our demands to the streets of Toronto, with a march and rallies at the doorsteps of ministry doorsteps. Join us and spread the word!
This is our time! Let’s show the Ford government that community and social services are WORTH FIGHTING FOR!
Bus registration is now open: Sign up for bus transportation!
Rally to meet at 10 Armoury Street in Toronto at noon. March to start at 12:30 PM.
