HPD Central Bargaining has confirmed dates for interest arbitration in 2026!
The dates for interest arbitration are scheduled for March 7 and 8, 2026 with arbitrator Colin Johnston. The central bargaining team will be meeting in the coming months in preparations for these dates.
With these dates confirmed, we are asking non-central locals to wait to finalize any monetary improvements so they can benefit from the outcome of interest arbitration at the central table. The central table sets the pattern for non-participating units, and the team is working hard to ensure that the deal that is achieved includes the resources and funding needed to combat the recruitment and retention crisis that we face every day.
