College Full-time Support Staff Bargaining Update #32: Tentative settlement & return-to-work protocol.

After nearly 5 weeks walking the line, Ontario full-time college support staff have reached a tentative agreement. The details of the tentative settlement were presented to members at this afternoon’s Town Hall.

Please keep an eye on your email for a more detailed breakdown in the coming days, as well as information on local bargaining information sessions.

Members are to return to work on their regular shift scheduled commencing Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. During the period prior to the ratification vote, which is pending scheduling by the Labour Board, members will be covered by the terms of the previous collective agreement.

Financial increases to wages, on-call rates, and shift premiums will be retroactive to September 1, 2025, to be paid out within ninety (90) days of the ratification date. Members will be paid for Monday, October 13th through Wednesday, October 15th as per terms of the settlement.
