Calling all OPSEU/SEFPO members working in the Broader Public Service!
We are looking for artists who can paint captivating pieces of graffiti art to include at the 2025 BPS Conference.
This year’s conference will feature a graffiti alley, creating an atmosphere of excitement and empowerment.
Chosen artists will paint multiple canvases (approximately 5’ x 4’) to mimic the style of a graffiti alley – featuring bright and splashy colours and powerful, engaging words and images. We would also like the Broader Public Service sectors to be represented within the artwork, to show appreciation for the members who keep their sectors going. The finer details will be discussed with the successful artist(s).
Canvasses will also be used as a video background for this year’s Speakers Corner.
Materials and a space to work will be provided by OPSEU/SEFPO and the successful artist(s) will be booked off to complete this work. The work will be done in Toronto, given the size of the artwork required (travel and accommodation will be covered should you need it).
Artwork completion date: November 1, 2025
Compensation: A per diem will be offered and other arrangements will be discussed upon expression of interest.
