Space is still available for the upcoming Young Workers Conference! OPSEU young workers, 35 and under, are encouraged to apply! The event will be held from August 5-7, 2016 at the Chelsea Hotel in downtown Toronto.
This year's theme will focus on the ongoing struggles young workers face as "The Precarious Generation" of our time. Conference activities and discussions will focus on the importance of stable and permanent work and the value of unions and why they remain relevant today. Participants will recognize the effectiveness of organizing and mobilizing young workers. They will work towards building a future that is fair and sustainable for all.
The deadline to submit applications is May 31, 2016. Completed forms can be e-mailed directly to youngworkersconference@opseu.org or faxed to the Equity Unit at 416-448-7419.
