Vote for a better deal for workers on April 28

With the federal election now in full swing across Canada – coming just weeks after Doug Ford and his anti-worker government got elected for a third term in Ontario – this is a crucial moment for OPSEU/SEFPO workers.

Voting day is coming up soon – Monday, April 28!

Elections are about the people like us who keep Canada going, using our voices to vote for a government who will work for us.

Right now, we know things are not working for us. People with full time jobs are turning to Food Banks to feed their families as the cost of groceries soar. Canadians are increasingly worried about retirement, with fewer than 2 in 5 workers having a pension at work.

We need change, and we must demand it through our vote. We need to organize towards a better future that values democracy over corporate control, and equity over greed. We need to organize for good jobs and strong public services over unstable jobs and services driven by private profits.

The outcome of this election will shape Canada for the next generation of workers. Your vote, and your activism, matters.

OPSEU/SEFPO has some incredible members and staff running in this election for the NDP. Join us in supporting these candidates, who are stepping up to make Canada a better place for workers.
