Celebrated by The Coalition of Racialized Workers (CoRW) in acknowledgement of the South Asian Diaspora in Canada, their rich contributions and their role as an integral part of the Canadian identity and society. CoRW’s aim is to honour and showcase the rich cultural diversity of the South Asian region. This event’s theme, overwhelmingly agreed upon by members, gave everyone a sense of community spirit, promoted cultural understanding, and provided an interactive educational experience for all attendees.
