On November 25 and 26 your Bargaining Team met with the Employer in what were our last scheduled bargaining dates. The two sides engaged in very limited discussion. As of now, we have no intention of scheduling future meetings with the Employer without the assistance of a mediator chosen jointly by the parties. While we are waiting for the Employer to respond to the list of mediators that the union provided to them last month, we will begin preparing for the inevitable mediation dates. It is clear that we require the assistance of a neutral third party to help the Employer move off their static, concessionary and unreasonable positions which they have maintained through this entire round of bargaining.
Your bargaining team remains committed to negotiating a contract free of concessions to improve the workplace.
